Known Issue: WebGL doesn't support 2d lighting

Thanks for all the feedback during the GameJam. I've incorporated a bunch of it but I think this is where the final version will rest.

Version 1.21

New Features: 

  • Player can now run holding shift
  • Camera has been zoomed out a bit to see more of the map 
  • Mini-Map has been added 
  • Quest Tracker has been added 
  • Added Post-Processing Effects
  • Made the map smaller

Bugs Fixed: 

  • Sidewalk and street tile edges have been fixed 
  • Better collision layer, so player walks behind poles, trees, and houses. 
  • Player now facing the correct direction when stopping, and stopping to talk 
  • Device particles now come out form the direction based on which way the player is facing 
  • Fixed talking to the Tape at the end
  • Fixed the Victory Screen

In a small town once the proud breadwinner of the Midwest, strange things have started happening. First a tree, then a fountain, then the schoolhouse, all disappeared in seconds without a trace. No one knows why or how, but there's been rumors cycling around about suspicious activity in the old condemned power planet up the hill, rumors of some government conspiracy. What's eating the town? Why can't you remember what happened yesterday? And can you remember fast enough to save the citizens before you're erased off the map?

All the art is custom except the wall around the factory and the blackholes themselves

Really confusing to know where to go. the player and the graphics are great but animation need some work.

Thanks for the feedback. We've listened. The next version will have new features to help with that.

I like the story element to it! But it was really confusing to know where to go and what to do near the beginning. With a little more polish, this would be a very good mystery game!

Thanks for that input. We're taking the feedback and plan to update the game with a mini-map and a quest tracker.

The mechanics are good, the NPCs move good towards the player and the graphics are great! It's difficult to know what  to do, I went to all the map and didn't find much, but the story is great! Good job!

Thanks for your feedback. Yes we were all all night and at that point all the dialogue fixes/changes made our eyes crossed, so I'm sure we missed something :p
